Anita on Yellow Background
2026 — Oil on canvas
The pink of the sheets and the Naples yellow-flecked wall form a jewel box. Anita, legs clasped in her arms, reminds me of abecedaries where letters are formed by combinations of human bodies. Her faint smile, her black dress, the radiance of her skin speak a secret language.
